Today's the Day!

It's finally here! We are so excited for tonight.

Remember that our reunion is being held tonight at 7:00p.m. at the new Madison High School in Rexburg. For those of you who are coming from out of town, take the first exit (near Burger King) and take a left under the overpass. You will pass Rexburg Motor Sports on your right and if you keep going straight you will run right into the school!

The fee is $5 per person at the door (only check or cash please).

New Plans

Hello Classmates!

We've had a change in the program for the reunion this weekend :)

We've decided to cancel the dinner portion of the reunion. Let me explain! Several months ago when we began planning our class reunion we had a significantly large number of classmates plan to attend. Because of the large number, we decided that catering some good food would be the best way to handle this large group. Well, when it came time to pay for the dinner we are finding out that many of the classmates are not interested in the dinner portion and might not be coming because of it.

We as class officers decided that we would rather have YOU GUYS than the food, so instead of dinner we will be providing some sweet treats and desserts. Everything else will remain the same as before (the slide show, the visiting, etc.)

As far as payment goes, we will just have a standard $5 per person fee at the door. That money will go towards paying for the facility, desserts, paper products, ect. That way we hope those who were unsure of their plans will be able to come! For those of you who already paid, thank you! And you can be assured that you will be reimbursed Saturday night for the extra that you paid.

We are sorry for all of the changes happening, but we thank you for being kind and patient! Really, we just want to have a fun evening with as many of you as we can. And if it means canceling dinner so you'll come, then we'll do it!

Dear Classmates:

We planned on more people paying then actually did. Therefore, to cover all costs we will be charging a small $5 entrance fee at the door on Saturday if you did not pay for a meal. It will go towards paying for the facility, dessert, table cloths, etc. Thank you for being understanding.

Sorry it took so long to post this information, the three of us weren't smart enough to figure out paypal very quickly. :):)

The reunion is quickly approaching and in order to get everything ready we will need a payment by August 9th. Please visit the blog www.bobcats06.blogspot.com and there is a paypal link.

Dinner will be catered by Texas Roadhouse. Pulled pork sandwiches, salads, etc. It will cost $12 a person. We really have done everything can to keep it as cheap as possible. Since it's being catered, there won't be any extras, so there is no way to pay at the door. If you don't end up paying before, please feel free to come, there just won't be a meal for you.

It is August 13th and starts at 7:00 PM.

It will be held at the new Madison High School.The school has asked for no children, but if you have a small baby and the mother is nursing we understand if you can't leave them.

Again, AUGUST 9TH IS THE LAST DAY WE WILL ACCEPT PAYMENT. When you visit the blog just enter the amount (either $12 or $24 if you are bringing someone)

Class Reunion RSVP

We've been working on the details for the reunion. We've had some great ideas but were shocked to see how fast it all added up! So instead of having everyone pay a small fortune, we've decided to go pretty low key for our 5 year :) Here are the main details-

It will be held at the new Madison High School at 7 PM on August 13th.
The dinner will be pulled pork sandwiches, salads, chips, etc.
We'll have a few fun things going on and showing our class slideshow.

As we've been working with different restaurants we realize we need to start placing orders. So we need an RSVP. If you are planning on coming please let us know by the end of June. (Let us know if you are bringing someone or not) MHS did ask that it will be adult only, so there won't be little kids running around in their new school. (Thanks for being understanding.)

5 year class reunion

Mark your calendars for August 13, 2011. This allows us to be able to use the High School before school starts up. A tragic accident has happened to their sweet daughter Preslee and they need all the support and faith from family and friends. So, sorry Joanna, It's been awhile since I've checked the email!

A quick updat on what's been going on with me in the last four years. I engaged two weeks after graduation and married soon after then moved to oregon for a year then back to texas where I have been for the last year. Right now I'm going through a nasty divorce and living on my own for the first time. I plan to move back up north as soon as I can! I hate texas. That's it with me!

I came across the blog for the Class of 2005. It looks like it is barely up and running. But, there are a few updates of some of their classmates, and I'm sure in the future more blog sites will be added. I thought I'd share the info :) I added their link on the right.

We found another one... Jill Allen! Looks like her cute little family is going to go from 2 to 3 in a couple of weeks! Congrats to them!!

From her blog I came across Catherine Dresen. (check it out) Looks like she has a fun announcement, congrats to her as well!

Amy Leatham

Many of us were lucky enough to get to know Mrs. Leatham. I never took one of her English classes, but I spent plenty of time working with her during our Senior year as Senior Class President. She was our advisor, and she spent hours helping us out to make sure we had a great senior year. She was willing to forget her busy life to help us. She is an amazing person.

Recently, Mrs. Leatham's 6 year old son was diagnosed with leukemia. He's currently staying at Primary Children's Hospital undergoing chemo. Amy has created a blog to tell their family's story. Click Here to read it.

Please keep the Leatham family in your prayers, they have quite a difficult journey ahead of them. From what Amy has written it sounds like Jace is a fighter! I hope the Leatham's can find comfort in the upcoming days.

Keep checking the "fellow Classmates" slowly but surely I keep finding classmates! I just added Brian Stewart. If you know of anyone I haven't added, leave a comment and let me know!

Well, I made this blog because I've come across some others which have taken off. People have really seemed to like them. Anyway, I don't think ours is. ha

Maybe it's because it's only been three years since we left MHS and you still hear from many of your classmates. Or maybe we need more people to know about it. Maybe you are all just too busy with your lives. :) Or maybe nobody cares.

So, I've been thinking, maybe I'll get back to this blog in about 2 years, just in time for our 5 year reunion. But who knows, maybe I'll keep finding something to blog about in the meantime. If any of you have a change of heart and would like to let us know about anything in your lives feel free! Until then, adios amigos. haha

Cole Benson

I know Cole was a year older, but many of us probably knew him. I was sickened to learn that he unexpectedly passed away yesterday. I'm unsure of the details right now, but I was told it was due to a heart problem. Please keep the Benson family in your prayers.
